Hudson de Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanio Abeita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Washington Ceresso. Cafu Amaral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lesardo Abello's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Fernando Arismendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Amaral having to interfere. Donato Abella was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Hudson de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson de Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanio Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Cafu Amaral got control of the ball when Lesardo Abello tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes in the game, César Menachem fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cafu Amaral having to interfere. Lesardo Abello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute César Menachem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Mandarina Mecánica's zone, Rémy Peralta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Abeita came out of the goal and Rémy Peralta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cafu Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Menachem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, César Menachem ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lesardo Abello managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mandarina Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Lesardo Abello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu Amaral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Pablo Magallanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Cafu Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
