Marcel Falcão succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcel Falcão got free with Zbyszko Brysz in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbyszko Brysz made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Davi Leite sent off a good shot on target. Luís Fernando Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fernando Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
