If Silverio Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 4 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Amato. In the 6th minute, Silverio Matthew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Quintan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Sebastian Panpili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjullan AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. A collision led to Anjullan AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sebastian Panpili hit a great ball. Cosme Amato hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Anacleto Lauro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gonzalo Lalla. The crowd rose to their feet as Silverio Matthew kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anacleto Lauro. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Faustino Xabel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Fausto Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Costante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Lauro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Anjullan AFC's Angel Quintan. But to his dismay, Angel Quintan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Anacleto Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Matthew in the 40th minute. Anacleto Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 45 minutes, Leandro Milio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta and the Anjullan AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Milio to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Costante was the one to do the kick off. The Anjullan AFC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Anjullan AFC's Silverio Matthew looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Silverio Matthew scored 7-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Lauro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 64 minutes, Fausto Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Costante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonzalo Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Matthew in the 69th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Anacleto Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Silverio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anjullan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cosme Amato hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Bonadona came free, but Anacleto Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Anjullan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Urtun. Anacleto Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Bonadona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anjullan AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
