The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Artun Şenyurt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of 拜耳04勒沃库森 booed when Blue Mountain State was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artun Şenyurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, 拜耳04勒沃库森's 姚鹏镇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yalçın Olgunay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12.
