When Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Clube do Remo MZ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Britto hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Manuel Barbosa came free, but Tiaguinho Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rollo Duguid made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Afonso Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Rollo Duguid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan da Silveira came free, but Rollo Duguid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Disvandis Fabres in the 31st minute of play forced Clube do Remo MZ's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Altermundi FC's Andolín Pumarino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiaguinho Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Altermundi FC's Rollo Duguid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan da Silveira in the 37th minute of play. Jose Manuel Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Jose Manuel Barbosa got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Fabricio Peragallo hit a great ball. Walmyr Dionísio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Paraíba in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Duguid saved Altermundi FC from getting behind. Jose Manuel Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute Allan da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rollo Duguid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rollo Duguid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan da Silveira in the 62nd minute of play. Clube do Remo MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walmyr Dionísio in the 64th minute. Rogelio Luco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan da Silveira came free, but Rollo Duguid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Manuel Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 played minutes Clube do Remo MZ got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Mangueira. 82 minutes into the match, Clube do Remo MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Luco came free, but Tiaguinho Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiaguinho Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Luco in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Manuel Barbosa got free with Tiaguinho Netto in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Peragallo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Altermundi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Altermundi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
