Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alejandro Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Pernambucano in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Mystyc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Quintun might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgard Quintun ran back to his position shaking his head. Juninho Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alejandro Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. Juninho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Alejandro Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Alejandro Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newpi Academy. Alejandro Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Pernambucano in the 29th minute of play. If Venancio Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benji Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Ibar in the 32nd minute of play. Juninho Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alejandro Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ramiro Mateo fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mystyc FC's protests and gave Ramiro Mateo a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Mateo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Juninho Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Berriotxoa was the one to do the kick off. Victor Denver kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Victoriano Burutzagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Berriotxoa struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Benji Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mystyc FC. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ceferino Iraitz hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Victoriano Burutzagi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Juninho Pernambucano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alejandro Raphael. Juninho Pernambucano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Clemente Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alejandro Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Gonzalez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A hard shot by Victoriano Burutzagi from long distance, 71 minutes into the match, got Alejandro Raphael's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Juninho Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Alejandro Raphael made a huge save. Basilio Nazario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benji Price having to make a save. After 73 played minutes Newpi Academy got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Pernambucano. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Generoso Veto got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Mystyc FC's Alejandro Raphael got control of the ball when Edgard Quintun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute Newpi Academy were awarded a corner. Victoriano Burutzagi went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 83rd minute, Juninho Pernambucano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejandro Raphael. The goal made the score 0-4. After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Melquiades Gonzalez got a free kick in the 87th minute. Rolando Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Basilio Nazario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mystyc FC and the Newpi Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Mystyc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Newpi Academy's Juninho Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Mystyc FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newpi Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
