The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kajetan Kazimierz got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jørund Nyhagen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Asmundsson in the 20th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Olav Øverby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Ytterstad in the 23rd minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Tobias Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sakarias Danielsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Garsås IF's Sakarias Danielsson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tor-Egil Arntsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tobias Berggren made a huge save. After 45 minutes, Sven-Erik Ekblom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garsås IF and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Joachim Mikalsen replaced Kenneth Foldnes. A collision led to Garsås IF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sven-Erik Ekblom hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor-Egil Arntsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Garsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Hägglund. Garsås IF's Fabian Hård managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kajetan Kazimierz in the 54 minute of the game. In the 66th minute Jon-Egil Grønli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørund Nyhagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Tobias Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Mikalsen in the 81st minute of play. In the 88th minute, Tor-Egil Arntsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brufoss IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
