After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Bernt Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Mongols's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Fredriksson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Meira saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernt Fredriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wesley Meira. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, The Mongols's Bernt Fredriksson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wesley Meira. Wesley Meira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 17 minutes into the game, Bernt Fredriksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wesley Meira. Bernt Fredriksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. In the 19th minute of the match, Abbe Muçollari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wesley Meira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cafu Pires hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The Mongols's Abbe Muçollari got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernt Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Wesley Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute, Bernt Fredriksson made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Meira. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 39 minutes into the match, Bernt Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wesley Meira. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Bernt Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Fredriksson in the 42nd minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wesley Meira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Fredriksson in the 57th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Wesley Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Bernt Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wesley Meira. The Mongols's Doug Las Casas was substituted for Abbe Muçollari. After 75 minutes, Cafu Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the The Mongols players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Mongols booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, The Mongols's Bernt Fredriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Meira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Wesley Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Fredriksson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Doug Las Casas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Meira came out of the goal and Doug Las Casas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Fredriksson in the 86th minute of the match. Bernt Fredriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Meira having to make a save. Bernt Fredriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wesley Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Fredriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Wesley Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
