In the 9th minute, Igor Maley made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Meira. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Daniil Biryukov fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STORM's protests and gave Daniil Biryukov a yellow card for diving instead. Daniil Biryukov hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Paulo Renato Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Doğa Hazret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikhail Kuklis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Maley in the 47th minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Maley to strike the kick off in the second half. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Maverick Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the game, Valeriy Vishnevskiy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wesley Meira. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. STORM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
