The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Donostia got free with Maurits Vesterherup in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Maurits Vesterherup had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Donostia. Maurits Vesterherup was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Ignacio Donostia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Donostia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 20th minute, Jan Hellsing had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Sonstorps Fotboll made a substitution. Mouritz Søjbjerg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Adrian Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurits Vesterherup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Donostia in the 52nd minute of play. If Mouritz Søjbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Donostia came free, but Maurits Vesterherup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sonstorps Fotboll's zone, Mouritz Søjbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Billberg came out of the goal and Mouritz Søjbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonstorps Fotboll's Adrian Billberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 70th minute of play. Leif Sjørlund hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Monks in Robes's Leif Sjørlund got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Leif Sjørlund off the ground. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Leif Sjørlund got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 95th minute Carol Wojtyla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Vesterherup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
