In the 28th match minute, Monks in Robes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Hindby to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Justino Laferte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSX UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monks in Robes the free kick. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Justino Laferte got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mouritz Søjbjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Mouritz Søjbjerg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monks in Robes's supporters rose to their feet, but Mouritz Søjbjerg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Angel Andreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mouritz Søjbjerg in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xavier Angel Andreu saved FSX UNITED from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Leif Sjørlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Xavier Angel Andreu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Sjørlund in the 55th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Xavier Angel Andreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ditlev Gørmez's late challenge caught a FSX UNITED's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ditlev Gørmez helped the player get up and apologised. Xavier Angel Andreu was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Mouritz Søjbjerg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Sjørlund got free with Xavier Angel Andreu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Sjørlund in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xavier Angel Andreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Monks in Robes's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
