When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Mikael Wenerdahl took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Edgar Juzda to make any attempt to save it. Artuur Spailer's late challenge caught a Vänge IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artuur Spailer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Mikael Wenerdahl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Juzda. The goal made the score 2-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikael Wenerdahl got free with Edgar Juzda in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vänge IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
