Florián Badilla started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Justino Laferte in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by de belletrekkers's Gert Robijns. In the 12th minute Edgard Armentier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Angel Andreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Edgard Armentier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the de belletrekkers and the FSX UNITED players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Edgard Armentier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes FSX UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Aristeo Cifuentes. de belletrekkers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Karel-Jan De Coninck in the 19th minute. The corner led de belletrekkers's Karel-Jan De Coninck to fire away a dangerous shot which Xavier Angel Andreu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remco Baekelandt in the 24th minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Xavier Angel Andreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save de belletrekkers from getting a goal against them. Odilón Bauzá did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Kristiaan Van de Velde 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Theo Weba got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Florinio Daniels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, de belletrekkers's Antonio Colebrandts made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Angel Andreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio Colebrandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Angel Andreu having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Xavier Angel Andreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Colebrandts in the 51st minute of play. Xavier Angel Andreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Colebrandts, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Omar Angeloni hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Robijns got free with Xavier Angel Andreu in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Armentier in the 62nd minute of play forced FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Xavier Angel Andreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Adán Tejo got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Antonio Colebrandts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 80th minute of the match Omar Angeloni completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Omar Angeloni a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Xavier Angel Andreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remco Baekelandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florián Badilla in the 87th minute of the match. Antonio Colebrandts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Angel Andreu having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, FSX UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odilón Bauzá to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
