The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Matos in the 2nd minute of play forced Rebentala FC's goalkeeper Elpidio Pancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Horea Dică in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rebentala FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Dario Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Wasyl Kempka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Emilian Horațiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Liviu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Dei in the 25th minute of play. If Carlos Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Matos in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Jimeno Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Cosmin Constantin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Pancho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tractorul Satulung -MM- reached it. In the 41st minute, Dario Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Dică came free, but Elpidio Pancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Lawrence in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Tractorul Satulung -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Kempka. Rebentala FC's Dario Dacio got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Dacio to make the kick off. Guillermo Argi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Elpidio Pancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Matos in the 56th minute of the match. Dráusio Matos struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Elpidio Pancho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tractorul Satulung -MM-. Horea Dică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Elpidio Pancho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Andrew Sinclair replaced Bernardino Domingues. During the 71st minute of the match Dario Dacio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dario Dacio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Rebentala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Dacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Julio Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rebentala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liviu Iordache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute, Jimeno Dei made a precise shot to the right of Liviu Iordache. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Liviu Iordache came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebentala FC's Jimeno Dei. But to his dismay, Jimeno Dei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With an all-out effort, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Elpidio Pancho threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dráusio Matos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Horea Dică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Elpidio Pancho made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Rebentala FC's Guillermo Argi got a free kick in the 94th minute.
