Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Diego Armando Orange made the kick off and thus started the match. If Flavinho Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With his leg Chiquinho Guerra managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Yala's Marcelo Etxatxu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Etxatxu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Chiquinho Guerra 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Yala's Omar Montes got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Isidoro Bizi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chiquinho Guerra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abel Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diego Armando Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jorge Nesor hit a great ball. After 28 minutes of play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Diego Armando Orange made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yassine Bounou was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, Flavinho Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yassine Bounou. Yala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavinho Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Abel Ferreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Abel Ferreira off the ground. In the 40th minute, Abel Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niki Bundev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chiquinho Guerra came out and tried to block the shot, but Niki Bundev slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niki Bundev made a kick off. Chiquinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Montes in the 51st minute of play. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Bundev, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Chiquinho Guerra came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Omar Montes. But to his dismay, Omar Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 64 minutes, Marcelo Etxatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yala and the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Yala's Marcelo Etxatxu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Bundev in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Yala's Omar Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquinho Guerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 84 minutes into the game, Norberto Erramu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ the free kick. Nilton Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yassine Bounou having to make a save. Chiquinho Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Omar Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Chiquinho Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
