Mauro Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Ihintza having to interfere. Omar Montes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Carter Gargano 28 minutes into the match. Carter Gargano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Montes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carter Gargano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Doping Positivo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Montes came free, but Carter Gargano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Montes got free with Carter Gargano in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Montes made a kick off. Honorato Ihintza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Telmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bernardo Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The referee showed Norberto Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Yala getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Norberto Erramu hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Camilo Aznar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Mauro Telmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
