Wilfredo Eneko hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Gennadiy Getsko shot from long distance in the 12th minute, but Tommy Thompson was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A very nice done corner allowed Wilfredo Eneko to score against Andriy Trubin in FC Ruh Lviv's goal. 0-1 after 14 minutes. 23 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Eneko came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Ruh Lviv defense, Sylwester Zima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Trubin. The FC Ruh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Trubin should have stopped the shot. Andriy Trubin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Eneko's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Sylwester Zima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 姚挺冰 kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tommy Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 37th minute of play. Michael Lachmann hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Boguslaw Hoffman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Andriy Trubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC LIVERPOOL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute Boguslaw Hoffman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 60 minutes into the game, when Andrew Pringle put in a rough tackle. FC LIVERPOOL made a substitution. Stew Jewson replaced Boguslaw Hoffman. FC LIVERPOOL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ed Sills was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Matviy Rudnyak. Myroslav Akymenko charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myroslav Akymenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes FC Ruh Lviv got a freekick which was hit by Myroslav Akymenko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Sills in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Ed Sills came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, Wilfredo Eneko made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Eneko couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Wilfredo Eneko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LIVERPOOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Des Bancroft's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andriy Trubin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ed Sills in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC LIVERPOOL left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ruh Lviv.
