Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Dragu to maneuver through the defense. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Dragușin in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Niculae Târcă got a free kick in the 21st minute. Myroslav Akymenko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iosif Panescu. FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Panescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Panescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Dragușin in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Dragușin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Trubin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Harhoiu came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Myroslav Akymenko made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Panescu. FC BaLiSt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The wind increased when Emil Harhoiu made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Ruh Lviv's Svyatoslav Krutyvus got a free kick in the 51st minute. When FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner was taken by Myroslav Akymenko in the 57th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC BaLiSt's goalie and right to Kostyantyn Tereschenko. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC BaLiSt's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Emil Harhoiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andriy Trubin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Braica, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the FC Ruh Lviv defense, Emil Harhoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Trubin. The FC Ruh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Trubin should have stopped the shot. If Anatoliy Batyuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Traian Muscaș replaced Florin Braica. 71 minutes into the match, Emil Harhoiu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin. Andriy Trubin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Târcă during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Târcă to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Dragușin in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Trubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 81 minutes, Cosmin Dragu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC BaLiSt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosmin Dragu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Emil Harhoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC BaLiSt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorel Găman in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Gabriel Dragușin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC BaLiSt's Emil Harhoiu in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Andriy Trubin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Dragușin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC BaLiSt walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
