Severino Franco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Guilherme Peres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Meireles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Erechim - FSCMZ reached it. 16 minutes into the game, Songurbey Şahsuvar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Afonso Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Songurbey Şahsuvar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Meireles saved ÓKINJÔ FC from getting behind. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Frasquito in the 28th minute of play. Edin Džeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amadeo Rufo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Quintela. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songurbey Şahsuvar in the 36th minute of play forced ÓKINJÔ FC's goalkeeper Afonso Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Songurbey Şahsuvar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 minutes, Songurbey Şahsuvar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ÓKINJÔ FC's Afonso Meireles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Garcia to make the kick off. Amadeo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Mendonça in the 56th minute of the match. Amadeo Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Garcia in the 57th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, ÓKINJÔ FC's Anier Quintyn made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Rufo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Diguinho Saraiva was substituted for Songurbey Şahsuvar. Geovânio Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. ÓKINJÔ FC's Anier Quintyn got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Régis Mello in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Meireles saved ÓKINJÔ FC from getting behind. Afonso Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diguinho Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
