The tension between the Guiñazú FC and the Höglunda IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Naldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Uhin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Höglunda IK's Gilberto Gabino threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Barck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Höglunda IK's zone, Carmelo Uhin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Verner Gustavsson came out of the goal and Carmelo Uhin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Salvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Verner Gustavsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Salvino ran back to his position shaking his head. A sloppy throw-in by Olof Engström in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guiñazú FC's Segundo Haritz. Carmelo Uhin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verner Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Salvino in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Salvino in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Verner Gustavsson saved Höglunda IK from getting behind. Adrian Oier scored 1-3 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Verner Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Salvino came free, but Verner Gustavsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Olof Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute Carmelo Uhin ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Verner Gustavsson. 1-4. The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when Höglunda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Adrian Oier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Verner Gustavsson. The goal made the score 1-5. Verner Gustavsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Adrian Oier sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Salvino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 76th playminute. Felipe Salvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Verner Gustavsson made a huge save. The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Guiñazú FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Rumaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Salvinos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Verner Gustavsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Guiñazú FC's Felipe Salvino got a free kick in the 96th minute.
