In the 14th minute, Manual Hope left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Mario Gleason got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match, Manual Hope tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Skarphéðinn Ormarsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Hrói Indriðason got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Dominic Hahn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Dominic Hahn slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes Dominic Hahn shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Skarphéðinn Ormarsson when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Manual Hope made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Sólbjörn Guðnason came free, but Marco Beauchesne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Manual Hope. But to his dismay, Manual Hope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 46 minutes into the game, Bjarnar Hjartarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Æsir Ásgarðr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Lisboa e Benfica the free kick. A collision led to Æsir Ásgarðr getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Bjarnar Hjartarsson hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

In the 51st match minute, Sport Lisboa e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sanford Descoteaux to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Mario Gleason was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Æsir Ásgarðr the free kick. Mario Gleason hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes of play Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Mario Gleason was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 56 played minutes Sport Lisboa e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Mario Gleason. Rósmann Eðvarsson made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Marcellin Stoddard. 64 minutes into the match, Manual Hope notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Æsir Ásgarðr defense, Manual Hope kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Skarphéðinn Ormarsson should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Æsir Ásgarðr's goal looked a bit too open when Foster Hirsch came free, but Skarphéðinn Ormarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Manual Hope nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manual Hope, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Manual Hope scored 10-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Skarphéðinn Ormarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Foster Hirsch got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Marco Beauchesne made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Sólbjörn Guðnason sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sport Lisboa e Benfica fully deserved thier win.
