With a little luck, FS Kilomani's Armin Laineste got control of the ball when Mario Gleason tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sport Lisboa e Benfica getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sanford Descoteaux hit a great ball. Maarek Astuja kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Will Donovan with Jared Temple as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Manual Hope took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armin Laineste. Armin Laineste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marco Beauchesne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarek Astuja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Manual Hope notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FS Kilomani's Armin Laineste. Armin Laineste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maarek Astuja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FS Kilomani's goal looked a bit too open when Manual Hope came free, but Armin Laineste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Beauchesne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarek Astuja in the 57th minute of the match. FS Kilomani's Kalju Loik was substituted for Kalju Õun. FS Kilomani's Armin Laineste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manual Hope in the 71st minute of play. Armin Laineste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Gleason, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute Maarek Astuja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Beauchesne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Manual Hope cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Armin Laineste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toomas Konsap during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Toomas Konsap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
