The supporters of Guiñazú FC booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Kormáksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Kormáksson in the 45th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Mórits Hamarsson took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Gilberto Gabino to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sólbjörn Guðnason stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
