In the 10th minute Ahmet Necdet Yunus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CİCERO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serter Haymanalı in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Necdet Yunus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torgny Blom was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Geri Zekai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgny Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taner Tuğkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute of the match CİCERO got a corner. Höglunda IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serter Haymanalı ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Elliott Samuelsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ahmet Necdet Yunus sped through Höglunda IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torgny Blom. When Mustafa Hamit Saye came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the CİCERO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Hamit Saye couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes Höglunda IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serter Haymanalı who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 41st minute of play forced CİCERO's goalkeeper Yağızalp Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Höglunda IK's Torgny Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taner Tuğkan in the 43rd minute of play. Torgny Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 47th minute of play. After the first half CİCERO were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Necdet Yunus made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Höglunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Bålström to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Ahmet Necdet Yunus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höglunda IK's Torgny Blom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Necdet Yunus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Torgny Blom made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yağızalp Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Hasselqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Stig Hasselqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CİCERO's Aybar Pozan was substituted for Tansel Cangun. In the 66th match minute, Höglunda IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Necdet Yunus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Höglunda IK's Torgny Blom got control of the ball when Geri Zekai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Höglunda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 78 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Torgny Blom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taner Tuğkan. Mustafa Hamit Saye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
