Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Marco Beauchesne successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Ahmet Necdet Yunus scored to the left of an out of position Marco Beauchesne, making the score, 2-0. Marco Beauchesne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Yunus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Ahmet Necdet Yunus made a precise shot to the right of Marco Beauchesne. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
