Giovanni Marinho took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerson Viana. Gerson Viana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Nat Ashby came free, but Gerson Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugênio Monteiro lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Aesir FC FSCMZ booed when Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabiano Neto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Frédson da Cunha. Cido Paulista hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gerson Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauan Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 36 minutes, Jefferson Rodrigues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aesir FC FSCMZ and the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Rodrigues. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Cauan Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Viana came out of the goal and Cauan Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Nat Ashby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Gerson Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Mendes to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, André Luiz Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jefferson Rodrigues hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Hélio Quadros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cido Paulista in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerson Viana saved Aesir FC FSCMZ from getting behind. César Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gerson Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aesir FC FSCMZ's Gerson Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Souza in the 64th minute of play. Nat Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gerson Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Nilmar Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aesir FC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Cabral in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Cauan Souza got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nuno Moraes hit a great ball. If Nat Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Quadros's late challenge caught a Aesir FC FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Quadros helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Hélio Quadros got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร played a much better game than Aesir FC FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Aesir FC FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
