In the 7th minute Arrigo Latini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando Tullo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luiz das Neves to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bar Marconi United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Enzo Cera hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Ricardinho Vander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Concetto Uguccioni. The goal made the score 1-0. After 24 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Noel das Neves. Joélson Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Pomponio in the 29th minute of the match. Concetto Uguccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Litoral EC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Bar Marconi United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulisses Munhoz took the corner. The corner led Litoral EC - CIMZ's Ulisses Munhoz to fire away a dangerous shot which Concetto Uguccioni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Borges to maneuver through the defense. Arrigo Latini's late challenge caught a Litoral EC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Latini helped the player get up and apologised. Arrigo Latini hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sílvio Luiz das Neves hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Ricardinho Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Litoral EC - CIMZ and the Bar Marconi United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joélson Carvalho came out of the goal and Dennis Berardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Berardo was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Berardo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Ferdinando Tullo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute of the match Ulisses Munhoz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Concetto Uguccioni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Vander in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Uguccioni saved Bar Marconi United from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Edmondo De Vito got a free kick in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Vander in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Concetto Uguccioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Concetto Uguccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ferdinando Tullo fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bar Marconi United's protests and gave Ferdinando Tullo a yellow card for diving instead. Ferdinando Tullo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. With his leg Joélson Carvalho managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Bar Marconi United's Alberigo Pomponio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Bar Marconi United's Joélson Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dennis Berardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bar Marconi United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
