Panagiotis Beloukas hit a great ball. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Vidal in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Apostolos Antoniou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Go Ahead Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NECKER49 the free kick. Apostolos Antoniou kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nikos Moustos hit a great ball. Siro Castulo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Bourousis in the 19th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Keylor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ebardo in the 21st minute of play. Go Ahead Eagles's Periklis Vakalis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keylor Navas but with some difficulty. 32 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Artemio Fertus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Papaiakovou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 41st minute, Wilfredo Ebardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Manos Papaiakovou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Nicanor Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Papaiakovou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panagiotis Bourousis to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Wilfredo Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 52 minutes, Siro Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NECKER49's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. Manos Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Ebardo in the 59th minute. Nicanor Vidal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manos Papaiakovou came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicanor Vidal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Paulo Ospin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manos Papaiakovou firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Haroldo Totakoxe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Totakoxe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. NECKER49's Remigio Astudillo was substituted for Nicanor Vidal. With 72 minutes on the clock, Christodoulos Vazakas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 73rd minute, Christodoulos Vazakas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manos Christodoulou kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Franco Muñoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Remigio Astudillo made a precise shot to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Christodoulou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Manos Christodoulou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manos Papaiakovou was a little too slow when Filiberto Garikoitz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-7. Geronimo Modestio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
