Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Sarı kaya FK from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panagiotis Bourousis got free with Furkan Gurbet in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Vahap Erdursun got a free kick in the 8th minute. Manos Christodoulou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Furkan Gurbet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Go Ahead Eagles defense, Taro Misaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. The Go Ahead Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manos Papaiakovou should have stopped the shot. Furkan Gurbet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Moustos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Furkan Gurbet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mert Başarman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Furkan Gurbet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panagiotis Bourousis in the 24th minute. Menderes Tekdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Apostolos Antoniou hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Moustos got free with Furkan Gurbet in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Panagiotis Bourousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Gurbet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Tekdoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Furkan Gurbet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Bourousis.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taro Misaki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou got control of the ball when Yaser Memduh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Takis Chatzivrettas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nikos Moustos hit a great ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Go Ahead Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mustafa Necati Başok was slow to take the kick. During this time Sarı kaya FK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mustafa Necati Başok got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manos Papaiakovou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 60 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Manos Christodoulou. In the 61st minute, Christodoulos Vazakas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarı kaya FK's Mustafa Necati Başok got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Furkan Gurbet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Bourousis in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sarı kaya FK booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Beloukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Mustafa Necati Başok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Furkan Gurbet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giotis Kouloucheris in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Go Ahead Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Christodoulos Vazakas. A collision led to Sarı kaya FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Yaser Memduh hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panagiotis Bourousis in the 94th minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Furkan Gurbet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sarı kaya FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
