Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulu Şavat in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turan Cansever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Saraiva in the 6th minute of play. When Floresta Club U18's Eusébio Baptista in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nevşehirspor's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ulu Şavat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nevşehirspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulu Şavat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hudson de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Hudson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulu Şavat in the 11th minute of play. Arda Baybars Esay lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Nevşehirspor's Turan Cansever proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Nevşehirspor from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Ulu Şavat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hudson de Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rıdvan Dilmen charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıdvan Dilmen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nevşehirspor's Rıdvan Dilmen got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ulu Şavat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hudson de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Nevşehirspor were awarded a corner. Aytunç Behzat went to the cornerflag to take it. Floresta Club U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulu Şavat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After the first half Nevşehirspor were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulu Şavat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ulu Şavat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nevşehirspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Didi Mattos took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turan Cansever. Turan Cansever dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. A sloppy throw-in by Zeca Souto in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nevşehirspor's Rıfat Hazlan. After 67 played minutes, Floresta Club U18's Isaltino Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Turan Cansever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floresta Club U18 reached it. In the 76th minute, Osman Nuri Vahip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Floresta Club U18's Dino Saraiva in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Turan Cansever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Turan Cansever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Saraiva in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nevşehirspor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
