Stefan Siekierka hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Bogumil Madajczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Schär in the 3rd minute of play. Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Ligas in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Bękarty Wojny getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Stefan Siekierka hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaetano Rothstein. Fabian Schär received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bogumil Madajczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Schär slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. When Gaetano Rothstein fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espen Steelers's protests and gave Gaetano Rothstein a yellow card for diving instead. Falko Reimann hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Akira Schmid came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Bękarty Wojny's Dariusz Biraga. But to his dismay, Dariusz Biraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cyprian Gardocki kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Akira Schmid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Gardocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Janusz Wachna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bękarty Wojny and the Espen Steelers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Janusz Wachna hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyprian Gardocki was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bękarty Wojny's Cyprian Gardocki got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Schär in the 53rd minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Fabian Schär notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Bękarty Wojny's Bogumil Madajczyk. Bogumil Madajczyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the game, Hubert Gartenmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bogumil Madajczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Harrison Muntwyler replaced Freeman Mächler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harrison Muntwyler in the 74th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Madajczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Aregger in the 75th minute of play. Cyprian Gardocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Akira Schmid made a huge save. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kazimierz Ligas was slow to take the kick. During this time Bękarty Wojny's players had a chance to rest. Janusz Wachna was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Janusz Wachna kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bękarty Wojny defense, Hubert Gartenmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogumil Madajczyk. The Bękarty Wojny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogumil Madajczyk should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Bogumil Madajczyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute Espen Steelers were awarded a corner. Falko Reimann went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Falko Reimann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bogumil Madajczyk quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid got control of the ball when Kazimierz Ligas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Andres Ambühl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogumil Madajczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1.
