Armando Guerreiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Toader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Purcaresti CSS's goalkeeper Damian Toader had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Guerreiro. In the 10th minute, Armando Guerreiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Toader was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Guerreiro got free with Damian Toader in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigi Drăgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo de Amorim having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Toader made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Efraim to make the kick off. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ernest Dăianu hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Tiberiu. 62 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damian Toader narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Toader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Armando Guerreiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho was substituted for João Paulo de Sena. In the 69th minute, Armando Guerreiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Club Mavericks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Ernest Dăianu kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader. Damian Toader was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Armando Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Toader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 84 minutes, Armando Guerreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Guerreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Guerreiro scored 9-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Toader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Toader came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim. But to his dismay, Honorio Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Damian Toader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Efraim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Sport Club Mavericks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
