Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The Nerd Herd's Ove Svingen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Severino Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon-Inge Kolberg. The Nerd Herd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kristian Devik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Severino Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Inge Kolberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes in the game Pedro Paulo Massa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eduardo Cabral. In the 19th minute, Kristian Devik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Clube Atlético Paulista getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marquinhos Pena hit a great ball. Alfredinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eivind Engh, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pedro Paulo Massa made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eduardo Cabral. 42 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Pena came free, but Jon-Inge Kolberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Eduardo Cabral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jon-Inge Kolberg skillfully saved the ball. In the 45th minute, Severino Soares made a precise shot to the right of Jon-Inge Kolberg. The Nerd Herd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Soares was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Pena in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon-Inge Kolberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Devik, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Marquinhos Pena struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jon-Inge Kolberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Paulista. After 65 minutes of play, The Nerd Herd's Ove Svingen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredinho Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Birk Rognstad hit a great ball. If Severino Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Massa. 87 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Svingen came free, but Alfredinho Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Inge Kolberg made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Severino Soares sent off a good shot on target. Ove Svingen's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Svingen helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Ove Svingen. Birk Rognstad kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Clube Atlético Paulista eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
