The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raja Sepik kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when JEMBer UTara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jem But didn't get a good kick on the ball. JEMBer UTara's attentive Makan Makan managed to snatch the ball when Alistair Riley made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Beale came free, but Mekki Pink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mekki Pink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Beale in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goalkeeper Mekki Pink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominic Beale. In the 24thth minute of the game Chi Bay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egg Chasers FC's Albert Godsall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led JEMBer UTara's Chi Bay to fire away a dangerous shot which Albert Godsall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dudan Souisa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Chi Bay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Godsall. Egg Chasers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chi Bay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chi Bay in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Godsall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jay Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jay Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Jay Palmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Sammy Alsford dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mekki Pink, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chi Bay made a kick off. Egg Chasers FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
