Fabio Marines came out of the goal and Clemente Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Isaac Candina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geraldo Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 24th match minute, Xapetuba Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Carrión in the 25th minute of the match. Basílio Mazza struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fabio Marines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xapetuba Futebol Clube. Geraldo Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Carrión in the 28th minute of play. Geraldo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delgado Licardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Geraldo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Romo-Leroux in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Geraldo Urbano got control of the ball when Eladio Carrión tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
