With his leg Romulo Ursino managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dumitru Bogătean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FMArgentina from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FMArgentina booed when GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Agudaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho Senna during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betinho Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Cazimir Postolache put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FMArgentina:s goal. In the 37th minute there was a penalty for FMArgentina. Zacarias Mano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marius Onișoru. 0-1. When Camilo Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FMArgentina's protests and gave Camilo Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Precioso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Dumitru Bogătean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Uxio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bogdan Pârlog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FMArgentina's Arnulfo Osoitz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Virgil Agudaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Ursino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Agudaru in the 62nd minute of play. Paul Stănoiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Ursino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Stănoiu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Delmar Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Dumitru Bogătean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paul Stănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Precioso. FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Bogătean in the 89th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see GoooooooooooooooooooooooL lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
