With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Austin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Pacholewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Froilan Galo's late challenge caught a Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Galo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Zhen Kang in the 15th minute of play. Luiz Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Väinö Caca-Rato, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rene Austin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Frisco went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Narciso Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charmander City's Luiz Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bai Zhen Kang in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Charmander City's Narciso Vincente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Austin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Charmander City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarzan Puyol to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Charmander City's goal looked a bit too open when Väinö Caca-Rato came free, but Luiz Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dean Velasco made in the 41st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dong Qiang Feng however managed to control. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Väinö Caca-Rato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Frisco might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Austin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Frisco ran back to his position shaking his head. Rene Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Frisco in the 52nd minute of play. Narciso Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Luciano Frisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charmander City were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Froilan Galo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Froilan Galo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Austin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Froilan Galo shot a long shot in the 65th minute and a light blocked Rene Austin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 4-0. Charmander City made a substitution. Juan Laffitte replaced Narciso Vincente. Zeledon Sazon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute Zeledon Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Austin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeledon Sazon's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Sazon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Austin was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Zeledon Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Rene Austin came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Charmander City's Zeledon Sazon. But to his dismay, Zeledon Sazon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 96 minutes into the match, Juan Laffitte notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's Rene Austin. Rene Austin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
