FC Maci -MM-'s Adolfo Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Botelho in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Spoială in the 51st minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Clemente Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Goiano. Adolfo Abar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Nicolae Pădureanu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolae Pădureanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute FC Maci -MM- were awarded a corner. The tension between the FC Maci -MM- and the Nova Venécia-ES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panait Piersic hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mário Aparecido came free, but Adolfo Abar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nova Venécia-ES were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Maci -MM- to leave the ground with a draw.
