Liutauras Rimkevičius ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute, Marcelo Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarūnas Laužikas in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Jarūnas Laužikas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarūnas Laužikas in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Secco to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Kristijonas Juzonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darijus Galminas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liutauras Rimkevičius in the 27th minute of play forced SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Hexo Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merūnas Šimaitis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Igor Gaspar hit a great ball. Angelo Secco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute Liutauras Rimkevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Wilson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Laužikas in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Marcelo Moraes hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo da Silveira during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Gonçalo da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Hexo Utd got a freekick which was hit by Jarūnas Laužikas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarūnas Laužikas was the one to do the kick off. Hexo Utd's Laurynas Dapšys got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Merūnas Šimaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Jarūnas Laužikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Nóbrega came free, but Kristijonas Juzonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hexo Utd's Kristijonas Juzonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Urtsua in the 70th minute of play. Hexo Utd's Jarūnas Laužikas got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Laužikas in the 81st minute of play. SANTOS F.C's Angelo Secco got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Angelo Secco off the ground. The supporters of Hexo Utd booed when SANTOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liutauras Rimkevičiuss short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Wilson Travassos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute of the match, Jeronimas Dautartas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Travassos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wilson Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarūnas Laužikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liutauras Rimkevičius got free with Wilson Travassos in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos got control of the ball when Liutauras Rimkevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Hexo Utd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hexo Utd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
