AM United's Sérgio Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo da Silveira in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Gonçalo da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sérgio Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Aristides Lobato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄迪翔 having to interfere. Cássio Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Sérgio Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermano Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄迪翔 having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AM United's Manuel Brás got a free kick in the 48th minute. The AM United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SANTOS F.C were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Veiga to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS F.C's zone, Hermano Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 庄迪翔 came out of the goal and Hermano Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AM United's Artur Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 庄迪翔 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Lobato, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Almir Perez fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTOS F.C's protests and gave Almir Perez a yellow card for diving instead. Almir Perez hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 庄迪翔 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermano Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When SANTOS F.C's Adan Urtsua, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SANTOS F.C. Marcelo Moraes took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sérgio Magalhães.
