Valério Vidigal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Tico Lizano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Valério Vidigal in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pura Vida Academy's Levent User. Higino Pessoa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tico Lizano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Pura Vida Academy's Levent User managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severiano Prates in the 9 minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pura Vida Academy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Pinhote FC. Zezé Haaland stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Silverio Mendez. 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jordão Barbosa came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tico Lizano came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pura Vida Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tico Lizano couldn't finish the play. When Hermenegildo Teles fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhote FC's protests and gave Hermenegildo Teles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Hermenegildo Teles hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Tico Lizano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa. Higino Pessoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silverio Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zezé Haaland in the 26th minute of the match. Anzor Tsinamdzghvrishvili hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Higino Pessoa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tico Lizano sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tico Lizano got free with Higino Pessoa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Márcio Antas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 36 in the game by Jordão Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Higino Pessoa managed to make a qualified save. Pinhote FC's players were relieved. Pura Vida Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugênio Teles in the 38th minute. Pura Vida Academy's Eugênio Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Higino Pessoa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Higino Pessoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tico Lizano in the 40th minute of the match. Higino Pessoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tico Lizano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Jordão Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Higino Pessoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When Severiano Prates fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhote FC's protests and gave Severiano Prates a yellow card for diving instead. Severiano Prates hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tico Lizano in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Pessoa saved Pinhote FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pinhote FC's Gualter Lencastre got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pura Vida Academy's Antoni Wieser was substituted for Tico Lizano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adélio Vilas Boas during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pinhote FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fabrício Quaresma hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes, Pura Vida Academy's Eugênio Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Higino Pessoa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pura Vida Academy reached it. Higino Pessoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent User, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jordão Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Higino Pessoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jordão Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Higino Pessoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordão Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Jordão Barbosa notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa. Higino Pessoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermenegildo Teles struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Silverio Mendez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinhote FC. Silverio Mendez made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Zezé Haaland sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pura Vida Academy had won after a very even match.
