After 4 minutes of play, Pura Vida Academy's Tico Lizano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Tico Lizano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. The supporters of Pura Vida Academy booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. But to his dismay, Tico Lizano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tico Lizano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tico Lizano in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Tico Lizano came free, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pura Vida Academy's Levent User got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 97th minute Luis María Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pura Vida Academy played a much better game than Plebeyos and deserved their victory. The Plebeyos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
