Pipon Pipon's Iuri Arruda threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lanny Valle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Jano França put in a rough tackle. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Clemente Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tróia in the 33rd minute of play. Iuri Arruda made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Freddie Henderson sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tróia hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Iuri Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lanny Valle in the 39th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Iuri Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lanny Valle went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Lanny Valle made a precise shot to the right of Iuri Arruda. ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 62 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Fisher came free, but Iuri Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, José Paulo Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Freddie Henderson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iuri Arruda was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The corner ended in Lanny Valle almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ATHLETICO PRaiano's Iuri Arruda did a great save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C. A. Pipon Pipon had played much better football throughout.
