In the 7th minute of the match Lech Biraga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iuri Arruda skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Edinho Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iuri Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Pau Nas Canelas's Bai Chao Zheng got control of the ball when Silvinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Gugu Leme got a free kick in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Edinho Moraes put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iuri Arruda. Iuri Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Moraes in the 17th minute of the match. Gugu Leme struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Bai Chao Zheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. Silvinho Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iuri Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Henriques in the 32nd minute of the match. Bai Chao Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Amorim in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Edinho Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pau Nas Canelas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Iuri Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoph Haßelmann in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvinho Amorim got free with Bai Chao Zheng in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Tróia during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iuri Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinho Moraes went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Chicão Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATHLETICO PRaiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pau Nas Canelas the free kick. In the 46th minute, Chicão Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvinho Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Dong Zhen Lin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bai Chao Zheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pau Nas Canelas getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dong Zhen Lin hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pau Nas Canelas defense, Silvinho Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bai Chao Zheng. The Pau Nas Canelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bai Chao Zheng should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute Américo Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iuri Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Iuri Arruda got control of the ball when Christoph Haßelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Edinho Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iuri Arruda. That made the score 1-5 in the 77 minute of play. Christoph Haßelmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Iuri Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Hoffmann. In the 84th minute, Pau Nas Canelas's Christoph Haßelmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iuri Arruda. Iuri Arruda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoph Haßelmann got free with Iuri Arruda in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
