Gav Smith took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Magrath. Edward Magrath dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rod Haskell hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Edward Magrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Smith in the 16th minute of play. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gav Smith in the 17th minute of play. Liberto Merino succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. 31 minutes into the game, Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Magrath made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Merino in the 34th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Spartak de Txurdi were awarded a corner. Gav Smith went to the cornerflag to take it. Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Magrath in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Liberto Merino's late challenge caught a Frenchville Sports Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liberto Merino helped the player get up and apologised. Liberto Merino kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Liberto Merino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edward Magrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Spartak de Txurdi fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Spartak de Txurdi's Liberto Merino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Raymond Kalla fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartak de Txurdi's protests and gave Raymond Kalla a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Spartak de Txurdi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Kalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Gannan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Liberto Merino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edward Magrath was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edward Magrath. That made the score 0-9 after 71 minutes of play. 75 minutes into the match, Liberto Merino notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath. Edward Magrath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gav Smith in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Magrath saved Frenchville Sports Club from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Spartak de Txurdi's Gav Smith dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. In the 87th minute, Gav Smith made a precise shot to the right of Edward Magrath. Frenchville Sports Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. 90 minutes into the game, Gav Smith cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Edward Magrath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gav Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gav Smith in the 96th minute of the match.
