Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raymond Johnston started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Hans Kellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIF LEEDS BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers FC the free kick. A collision led to DIF LEEDS BK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hans Kellbom hit a great ball. In the 4th match minute, Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Charles to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Hans Kellbom notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Kellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Niclas Österberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niclas Österberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Niclas Österberg put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Hampus Tolsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Johnston didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Österberg in the 22nd minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, DIF LEEDS BK's Holger Lidström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fergus Fairbairn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Tyler McCraw got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Raymond Johnston fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rangers FC's protests and gave Raymond Johnston a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Holger Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DIF LEEDS BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niclas Österberg to make the kick off. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Patrick Sporran hit a great ball. Fergus Fairbairn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niclas Österberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 54 minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niclas Österberg. With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Niclas Österberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niclas Österbergs short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Fergus Fairbairn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Österberg in the 77th minute of play. Hans Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Darius Bontine. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIF LEEDS BK. Niclas Österberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fergus Fairbairn firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 96 minutes of play, DIF LEEDS BK's Niclas Österberg made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fergus Fairbairn was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded DIF LEEDS BK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rangers FC.
