In the 8th minute Marcus Rashford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Kanalla F.C's Marcus Rashford made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 41 minutes, Rutger Telin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnöfors FF and the Kanalla F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Rashford to make the kick off. Johan Hultin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercüment Tanju in the 73rd minute. When Ercüment Tanju came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kanalla F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercüment Tanju couldn't finish the play. If Chris-George Di Crescenzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Kanalla F.C's Ercüment Tanju dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Kanalla F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rönnöfors FF.
