When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lenílson Gomes sped through Alvarado de Mar del Plata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Segundo Laurendi. With an all-out effort, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Paulo de Mendonça threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Lluc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 8 played minutes Cristobal Guilabertus rounded Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nicolas França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Laurendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenílson Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Laurendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Sebastian Lluc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo de Mendonça. That made the score 2-1 after 29 minutes of play. Zeca Garcia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Lenílson Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Segundo Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Paulo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Efren in the 46th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lenílson Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Laurendi was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

After a rather tough play, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Francisco Merexildo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Segundo Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Pimenta in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Cristobal Guilabertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Sebastian Lluc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 80th minute, Pedro Efren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thomás do Valle got a free kick in the 81st minute.
