But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Edur couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Clemente Domeka got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when U21 Totoras F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Tiburcio Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gerardo Edur made the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Edur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Dalmu in the 65th minute of play forced Don Malbec's goalkeeper Basilio Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, U21 Totoras F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lasso came free, but Germán Burgos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, U21 Totoras F.C.'s Germán Burgos got control of the ball when Felix Nahia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when U21 Totoras F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Haimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Benigno Quintyn got a free kick in the 95th minute. Tiburcio Haimar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The U21 Totoras F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Don Malbec's performance. The match ended with a win for Don Malbec.
