After some careless play in the VAMO ARRIBA defense, Luizinho Velasco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Loramendi. The VAMO ARRIBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Loramendi should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as VAMO ARRIBA's Nicolas Laurin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Falcão. That made the score 1-2 after 17 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Leão in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Laurin scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmundo Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Luís Paulo Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Loramendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After some careless play in the Joinville City - FSCMZ defense, Gilberto Lauaxeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Falcão. The Joinville City - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Falcão should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Ciro Queiroz got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fabiano Leão got free with Roman Loramendi in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 played minutes VAMO ARRIBA got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Ilixo. Roman Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Velasco in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Joinville City - FSCMZ booed when VAMO ARRIBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Virila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luiz Fabiano Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Seber in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Leão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Loramendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Roman Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joinville City - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luizinho Velasco in the 78th minute. The Joinville City - FSCMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
